About us

As a German youth organisation, we have been participating as representatives of civil society in the international climate conferences of the United Nations since 2013. We advocate for a consequent combat against climate change. In addition, we promote intergenerational equity to raise awareness of the important position future generations hold in finding sustainable solutions.

Beside discussions and meetings with decision-makers during the negotiations, we focus on increasing awareness of the outcome of the conferences and the topic of climate change in general. Therefore, we write articles on different blogs, keep our Facebook up-to-date, and give interviews to reach a broader audience.

You can get in contact with us though our contact form or Facebook page.

Youth Alliance for Future Energy

The “Klimadelegation” is a working group of the Youth Alliance for Future Energy. The alliance of young people primarily works in activism against coal and nuclear power and in favor of renewable energies. They have launched different projects such as “U-turn  — energy transition well thought out”, which questioned the transition progress of the German energy sector towards renewable energies. Other projects have dealt with the implementation of sustainable energy production in the global south.

The Youth Alliance for Future Energy was founded by BUNDjugend, NAJU, Katholischen Landjugendbewegung and Naturfreundejugend Deutschlands.
