Data protection

The operators of these sites take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and according to data protection legislation and this privacy policy.

The use of our Web site is possible without indication of personal data. As far as personal data (for example name, address or E‑Mail addresses) are collected on our pages, this is, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. These data are not passed to third parties without your explicit consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating via e‑mail) may have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

twingle

This website uses the donation form of twingle GmbH, Prinzenallee 74, 13357 Berlin. twingle GmbH provides the technical platform for the donation process for this donation form. The data you entered during the donation (e.g. address, bank details, etc.) will only be stored by twingle on servers in Germany for the purpose of processing the donation. We have concluded a contract with twingle for order data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the German Data Protection Authorities when using twingle’s donation form. The transmission of your data is based on Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent) and Art. b GDPR (processing for the performance of a contract). You have the option to revoke your consent to data processing at any time. A revocation does not affect the effectiveness of data processing operations in the past.

Use of Matomo

The donation form of twingle uses the web analysis service software Matomo (www.matomo.org), a service of the provider InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, (“Matomo”) based on twingle’s legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimization purposes in accordance with Art. f GDPR data collected and stored. From this data, pseudonymised user profiles can be created and evaluated for the same purpose. Cookies can be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the website visitor’s internet browser. Among other things, the cookies enable the recognition of the Internet browser. The data collected with Matomo technology (including your pseudonymized IP address) is processed on twingle servers. The information generated by the cookie in the pseudonymous user profile is not used to personally identify the visitor to this website and is not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

If you do not agree with the storage and evaluation of this data from your visit, then you can object to the storage and use at any time with just a click. In this case, an opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, which means that Matomo does not collect any session data. Please note that the complete deletion of your cookies means that the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and may have to be reactivated by you.

Collection, processing and use of personal data in the event of donations

In the case of a donation, we only collect and use your personal data insofar as this is necessary for the fulfillment and processing of your donation and, if necessary, for the processing of your enquiries. The provision of the data is necessary for the processing of the donation process. Non-provisioning means that your donation cannot be received. Processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6 (1) lit. b GDPR and is required for the processing of the donation. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent. Excluded from this are only our service partners, which we need to process the donation or service providers used in the context of order processing. In addition to the recipients named in the respective clauses of this Privacy Policy, these are, for example, recipients of the following categories: payment service providers, service providers for sending the donation certificate. In all cases, we strictly observe the legal requirements. The scope of the data transmission is limited to a minimum. You have the option to revoke your consent to data processing at any time. A revocation does not affect the effectiveness of data processing operations in the past.
